Shannon Strategies is a woman- and Black-owned communications firm specializing in policy, advocacy, and progressive politics. We work with nonprofits, funders, community-based organizations, lawmakers, and progressive political candidates to mobilize people and enact systemic change.

Director
Sheri (she/her) is an award-winning communications strategist, community liaison and environmental advocate who has dedicated her career to social causes that benefit the greater good. For 15 years, she has worked in the nonprofit and private sectors running communications campaigns for startup companies, political candidates, interest groups, environmental organizations and Australian government alliances.
Sheri holds an M.A in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.S in Earth Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University. She is the co-founder of Southside ReLeaf and serves on board for BridgePark RVA, Richmond Tree Stewards and Sierra Club Fall of the James. She was also featured as an “Eco Hero” by Glamour magazine. Sheri is committed to the fight for environmental and economic justice, so everyone has a clean, healthy and safe space to live, work, learn and pray.

PR Strategist
Kelley Losier brings nearly a decade of public relations experience to Shannon Strategies. After attending Parsons School of Design and serving in various PR roles in New York Kelley returned to Richmond to pursue a career in advocacy. Kelley ran communications for Equality Virginia before serving in various roles on state and local political campaigns. Kelley also served as Director of Communications for former Delegate (now State Senator) Lashrecse Aird.

Graphic Design and Branding Lead
Dejah (she/her) is a graphic designer who creates compelling graphics to enhance the professional style, story and mission for clients. She specializes in brand design, marketing design and social media branding using an array of tools for print and digital media, and everything in between. Her portfolio of work spans a number of industries, including real estate, beauty, child care and the nonprofit sector.
Dejah’s graphic design career started in high school and was enhanced while attending James Madison University where she studied mass communications.
